Silly stuff about eyes which I choose to believe is true

Blue Eyes
People with blue eyes last the longest in relationships. They are kind, pretty or handsome, very good kissers and are really hot. They always fall in love with their closest friends and never understand why. They are very funny, outgoing and don’t care what people think or say. They are very satisfying and love to please. Are straight up WARRIORS when necessary.

 Green Eyes
People with green eyes have the most passion put into relationships, honest and trust worthy, they have long lasting relationships. People with green eyes are also the most beautiful, are fun and outgoing, love to make people laugh, random as hell. They long for the touch of another. People with green eyes are very sexy and very attracted towards the opposite sex. tend to cover up true feelings, get scared over relationships.

Not so scary :P

So I went to the ride- and funnily enough, everyone was right, and the guys and girls are all really cool!

Ok, now that you’ve all gone “I toldya soooo”, mind if I get on with it?

Made it out to the meet point without haveing to stickey-tape the directions onto the tank (always a plus) and just started to fill up when a couple others turned up. Finished with the pump and backed her in with the others to wait for everyone else to show. Ended up leaving with 19 bikes, and we gained 3 more somewhere along the way. Another girl and I sat near the back since we were pretty inexperienced, so we’re all lined up at the lights when another bloke pulls up between us and lets the smoke fly! The cars beside us just went :o coz they thought it was the girlies!!

Awesome ride out Mundaring way; great roads, great people- pity bout the cars thankyou mr white falcon but I’d rather not share my lane with you!! Grab a quick feed and head back in on a different route- then Oh Noes!! An Off!! Another guy who only just got his licence skidded off a corner to go check out the pretty trees- he walked away but he’ll need a new helmet, the lid definately did it’s job! A couple of us coming up behind dragged the bike out, checked him over, organised a trailer and a ride for him, then we headed off to meet up with the rest of the group waiting at the next corner.

All in all an interesting way to spend the day- and they’ll be expecting Rob on the Spada at tomorrow night’s ride while I’m at work- can’t mistake them damn Rhinos :P

Perth City Council Petition

h1 Saturday, June 9th, 2007

A petition has just been started requesting (essentially) more designated parking spaces for motorcycles/ scooters, and better parking rates.

The short version:

  • M/Cs make up 4% of licence registrations per year, yet only 1.5% of spaces are available for M/C use.
  • In carparks where a reduced rate is offered to M/Cs, the rate is 50% of the car rate- yet M/Cs take up only 20- 30% of the space that a car does.
  • M/Cs and scooters use less fuel because they’re more efficient, take up less space and cause much less congestion on the roads than larger vehicles.

I signed up my support- after only two weeks the Spada has saved me from paying for street parking by being small enough to be tucked into the carpark at work (and leave other spaces free for other cars), and has proven to cost less than half of the running cost of the Commodore (even cheaper compared to Rob’s 4Runner).

Here is the petition: Clicky Clicky
All I ask is that you have a read, and forward it around if you find it to be a worthy cause. Cheers!

Oh gawd..

h1 Friday, June 8th, 2007

So, further to my last post, I got up some courage and replied to the thread about the small ride on Sunday asking if a non-learner but absolute no0b would be welcome. The answer was yes- so now I feel a bit obligated to go along. Obligation is a good thing though, because if I hadn’t asked I would have just chickened out on Sunday morning.

Now I have to go meet the scary bikies o_0

It’ll be fine… Right…?

A worrying concept..

h1 Thursday, June 7th, 2007

So it appears I have become one of those “coupley” people who can’t go out and do something in a new crowd or meet some new people without their other half. There’s a small bike run on Sunday which I’d kinda like to go on, but I’ve never met the other riders in real life and it’s not terribly sensible to put two people on a little 250cc anything, let alone the Spada.

So if I went, it’d be all on my scary little onesies.. Granted, if I get picked on by the other kids I can just pack my helmet and gloves and bugger off, but they all know each other and I’d be turning up going “so are you MuNches?” and there is no possible way to ask that and still feel cool.

I dunno.. I guess I’ll decide on Sunday if I’ll bother going..

Happy Birthday Baby Ben!!

h1 Tuesday, June 5th, 2007
And also, we went to the bird park in Bunbury. The following came off my phone because we forgot to pack the bloody camera again!!
The hungry little birdie:
birdie 01
birdie 02
It must be so hard to be a kangaroo!
roo 02
roo 03roo 04

Other highlights include: Tiff won her soccer game! We had birthday dinner for Ben with Tiff’s parents and extended clan, then more birthday beer back at their place, then birthday brekky with Ben’s family this morning (so much tastey food :D) With a weekend like that, its very hard to come back to work in Perth!
